"Hanging Lake"James Disney

The Hanging Lake Trailhead is located at a rest area on Interstate 70 in Glenwood Canyon. From the rest area, the trail to Hanging Lake climbs about a thousand feet in just over a mile. It's a steep hike, but once you reach the lake and see the waterfalls cascading into the clear, aquamarine waters of the lake, you'll most likely agree the hike was worth the effort.
