"Mister Stirling's TreeJames DisneyPrivate Collection

For many years, Estes Park artist,Dave Stirling, had his studio a short way inside the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Among his favorite subject matter was this old timberline veteran, which he painted from several angles. I liked his paintings of the tree so he told me where it was, and I've done a few paintings of it, also.
